UNM 2014 Chapter Sigma Xi Award received by CS Graduate Student

Congratulations to Roya Ensafi for receiving the 2014 UNM Chapter Sigma Xi “Excellence in Graduate Research” Award. The UNM Chapter of Sigma Xi, an international, multidisciplinary research society, presents the Excellence in Graduate Research Award to encourage and recognize the research performed by a doctoral student near the end of his or her Ph.D. dissertation.
Roya will be graduating from UNM this Fall with her Ph. D in Computer Science. Her research interests include network security and internet measurements specifically censorship detection and circumvention. Roya holds a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Following her Bachelors, Roya received a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of New Mexico.
